Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrival in Coimbatore - Transfer to Ooty (approx. 100 km/ 3 hours)

    Welcome to Coimbatore! Upon your arrival at the international airport or railway station, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Ooty. After booking your hotel and enjoying lunch, you’ll explore the enchanting ‘Queen of the Hill Stations’, Ooty. Today’s tour includes the sprawling Botanical Gardens, a peaceful boat ride on Ooty Lake, and a visit to Doddabetta Peak, the highest point in the Nilgiri mountains. Cap off your day with local shopping before returning to your hotel for the night.

  • Day 02: Day Trip to Coonoor

    After breakfast in Ooty, we set off for a day trip to the picturesque town of Coonoor. This serene locale is a haven for nature lovers and bird watchers, featuring lush tea plantations and vibrant floral displays. Highlights include Dolphin’s Nose, which offers expansive vistas of the Nilgiri Hills, and Lamb’s Rock, an ideal spot for a scenic picnic. Return to Ooty for an overnight stay.

  • Day 03: Ooty to Kodaikanal (approx. 250 km / 6 hours)

    Depart early for Kodaikanal, another gem in the crown of Tamil Nadu’s hill stations. En route, visit the revered Palani Temples, which are stunning examples of South Indian temple architecture. Upon arrival in Kodaikanal, check into your hotel and relax. Later, explore the tranquil beauty of Kodaikanal’s green hills, serene lakes, and cascading waterfalls. Overnight in Kodaikanal.

  • Day 04: Explore Kodaikanal

    Continue your exploration of Kodaikanal’s natural and cultural sites. The town encircles the star-shaped Kodai Lake, surrounded by evergreen forest. Visit Bryant Park to see a collection of roses, walk on Coaker’s Path for panoramic views, and explore the spiritual Kurunji Andavar Temple. Also, visit the Green Valley View and the Shembaganur Natural History Museum. Overnight in Kodaikanal.

  • Day 05: Kodaikanal to Munnar (160 km / 6 hours)

    Today, you’ll drive to Munnar, a stunning hill station in Kerala known for its sprawling tea estates and rich biodiversity. Enjoy the scenic journey, with stops at beautiful waterfalls where you can capture memorable photos. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the evening leisurely exploring Munnar’s serene environment. Overnight in Munnar.

  • Day 06: Sightseeing in Munnar

    Post breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit the historic Christ Church, watch the endangered Nilgiri Tahr at Eravikulam National Park, enjoy the lush surroundings at Mattupetty Dam, and trek to Anamudi Peak, the highest point in Kerala. This full day of exploration will be a treat for all your senses. Overnight in Munnar.

  • Day 07: Munnar to Thekkady (approx. 110 km / 3 hours)

    Travel to Thekkady, home to the renowned Periyar National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary. Check into your resort and spend the afternoon enjoying a boat safari on Periyar Lake, observing the diverse wildlife, including elephants and tigers. Overnight in Thekkady.

  • Day 08: Thekkady to Kumarakom (approx. 130 km / 4 hours)

    After breakfast, proceed to Kumarakom, a peaceful village on the banks of Lake Vembanad. Check into your backwater resort and later visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, a haven for numerous migratory and local bird species. Overnight in Kumarakom.

  • Day 09: Kumarakom to Cochin for Departure (approx. 60 km / 2 hours)

    Drive to Cochin in the morning. Upon arrival, enjoy a half-day tour of Cochin’s historical sites, including St. Francis Church, the Chinese Fishing Nets, the Jewish Synagogue, and the Dutch Palace. Later, you’ll be transferred to Cochin International Airport for your departure flight, concluding a memorable journey through Southern India’s most picturesque hill stations and cultural landmarks.
