Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrival in Bangalore

    Arrive at Mumbai International Airport and catch a flight to Bangalore. Upon your arrival at Bangalore International Airport, you will be greeted by our company representative, who will escort you to your hotel. Known as the Garden City and India’s Silicon Valley, Bangalore is the capital of Karnataka state. After checking in at your hotel, you can relax and unwind for the night.

  • Day 02: Bangalore Sightseeing

    Start your day with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a sightseeing tour of Bangalore. Visit iconic attractions such as the Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, Vidhana Soudha, Attara Kacheri, Cubbon Park, Bangalore Fort, and the ISKCON Temple. After a fulfilling day of exploration, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

  • Day 03: Journey from Bangalore to Mysore (155 km / 3½ hrs)

    Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, check out, and embark on a drive to Mysore. Along the way, stop at Srirangapatna, a site rich in history. Upon reaching Mysore, check in at your hotel and later enjoy an afternoon sightseeing tour. Highlights of the tour include the Mysore Palace, Shivanasamudra Waterfalls, Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Garden, St. Philomena’s Church, the Railway Museum, and Vrindavan Garden. In the evening, attend a captivating light and sound show before returning for an overnight stay at your hotel.

  • Day 04: Mysore to Ooty (130 km / 3 hrs)

    Begin your day with an early morning drive to Chamundi Hills to visit the Chamundeshwari Temple. After breakfast, check out of the hotel and travel to Ooty, stopping at the Mudumalai Forest along the way. Upon arrival in Ooty, check in at your hotel and enjoy a free day for leisure and shopping in local markets. Spend the night at the hotel.

  • Day 05: Ooty Sightseeing

    After breakfast, experience a delightful toy train ride from Ooty to Coonoor aboard the Nilgiri Mountain Railway—an unforgettable adventure. Later, explore the city’s attractions, including the Botanical Garden, Doddabetta Peak, Pykara Lake, Ooty Lake, and more. Conclude the day with an overnight stay at your hotel.

  • Day 06: Ooty to Coimbatore (95 km / 2 hrs)

    After breakfast, we will set off for Coimbatore. Upon arrival, you can enjoy sightseeing at several notable attractions, including the Marudamalai Temple, Dhyanalinga Temple, Adiyogi Shiva, and Arulmigu Patteeswarar Swamy Temple. In the evening, you’ll check into your hotel and have the night at your leisure.
    Coimbatore, often referred to as Kovai, is a prominent city in Tamil Nadu and serves as a central hub for textiles, industry, commerce, education, information technology, healthcare, and manufacturing in South India. Nestled on the banks of the Noyyal River and surrounded by the Western Ghats, it is frequently called the “Manchester of South India” due to its thriving cotton and textile industries.

  • Day 07: Coimbatore to Kodaikanal (180 km / 5 hrs)

    Prepare for a scenic journey to Kodaikanal after breakfast. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take some time to relax.
    Later, explore the enchanting “Princess of Hills.” Visit the stunning Kodaikanal Lake, quaint Mannavanur Lake, and the picturesque Lake View Point. Spend the night at the hotel.
    Kodaikanal is one of India’s most beloved hill stations, aptly named for its lush forests and stunning landscapes. The area is adorned with verdant trees, impressive rock formations, and serene waterfalls, making it a perfect getaway for nature lovers seeking tranquillity amidst breathtaking views.

  • Day 08: Kodaikanal to Madurai (120 km / 3 hrs)

    After breakfast, prepare to discover Madurai’s historical treasures. Visit the exquisite Shri Meenakshi Temple and Thiruparankundram. Madurai, often referred to as the “East Athens,” boasts a rich history spanning over 2,500 years. Legend has it that the town earned its name, Mathuram (Nectar), when the deity blessed its people, leading them to build a temple that emerged from Shiva’s locks.
    The Meenakshi-Sundareswarar Temple, known for its stunning 12 gopurams (gateway towers) with intricate pyramid-like structures, features four of the tallest gopurams on its outer walls. The temple complex houses over 1,500 sculptures, including the captivating tale of the Princess of Madurai in the Ashta Shakthi Mandapam, detailing her marriage to Lord Shiva.

  • Day 09: Madurai to Trichy to Tanjore (250 km / 4-5 hrs)

    Following breakfast, embark on a drive to visit the temples of Trichy, including the renowned Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple and the Rock Fort. A brief drive of 5 km will take you to the island of Srirangam, where both the temple and fort are located. Seven walls surround the temple and features 22 gopurams, the tallest of which rises to 72 meters and has 13 stories.
    In the evening, you will check into your hotel in Tanjore and stay overnight.

  • Day 10: Tanjore Sightseeing

    After breakfast, embark on a drive to Tanjore to visit the magnificent Brihadeshwara Temple. Spend the night in a hotel in Tanjore.

  • Day 11: Tanjore to Pondicherry (170 km / 4-5 hours)

    Each morning, following breakfast, check out from your hotel and make your way to Pondicherry. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy a refreshing drink. Prepare for an exciting tour of Pondicherry, which will include visits to local attractions such as the Pondicherry Botanical Garden, various temples, and the Pondicherry Museum. After a delightful evening tour, unwind at your hotel overnight.

  • Day 12: Pondicherry to Mahabalipuram (120 km / 3.5 hours)

    After breakfast, drive to Mahabalipuram and check in at your hotel upon arrival. You will have the opportunity to explore the ancient relics of the first harbour and the remnants of the historic city, including the monumental Pallava temples, sculptural panels, rock-cut chariot temples, and the impressive Krishna Mandapam. Marvel at the world’s largest low relief, measuring 27m x 9m, featuring intricate carvings of gods, demigods, and mythical creatures. Don’t miss the Coastal Temple, one of the oldest examples of Dravidian-style architecture dating back to the 8th century AD. Stay overnight in a hotel in Mahabalipuram.

  • Day 13: Mahabalipuram to Kanchipuram to Chennai (200 km / 3-4 hours)

    Enjoy breakfast before departing for Chennai, with a stop in Kanchipuram to explore its famous temples, including the Kamakshi Amman Temple, Varadharaja Perumal Temple, Vaikunda Perumal Temple, and Kailasanathar Temple. Afterwards, check in at your pre-booked hotel in Chennai, where you can relax and rejuvenate. Later, embark on a temple tour, which includes the Ashtalakshmi Temple, Shri Parthasarathy Temple (built by the Pallavas in the 8th century AD), and the Kapaleeswarar Temple located in Mylapore. The afternoon is yours to explore at leisure. Stay overnight at a hotel in Chennai.

  • Day 14: Chennai Sightseeing

    Enjoy a filling breakfast before preparing for a day of sightseeing. Visit notable sites, including Kapaleeshwar Temple and Fort St. George, the oldest fort in Chennai. Continue to Santhome Cathedral, the National Art Gallery, St. Mary’s Church, Anna Zoological Park, Birla Planetarium, and People’s Park, with a brief stop at Kalakshetra and the Theosophical Society. In the evening, head to the iconic Marina Beach, the world’s second-largest beach, before returning to your hotel for the night in Chennai.

  • Day 15: Departure from Chennai

    As you have an early morning flight, make your way to Chennai Airport with cherished memories of incredible India as you head home.
