Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrival at Delhi – Rishikesh (262 km- 6 hrs)

    Get ready for the Uttarakhand Adventure Tour! Your journey begins at Delhi Airport or Railway Station. Our tour agent will meet you and help you transfer to Rishikesh. This city is one of the holiest in Hinduism. Upon arrival, check into your hotel.
    Rishikesh is known as the ‘Yoga Capital of the World’ and the ‘Gateway to the Uttarakhand Himalayas.’ It attracts peace seekers and adventure lovers alike. Explore the many ashrams that offer Yoga and meditation classes with expert instructors. The city is filled with serenity, Sadhus, and spiritual practices.
    After you settle in, head out for a half-day sightseeing tour. Visit Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula, iconic iron suspension bridges and significant tourist spots. In the evening, don’t miss the Ganga Arti at the Holy Ganga ghat. Feel the spiritual energy and enjoy the stunning views.
    At the hotel in Rishikesh, dinner awaits you. Relax by the bonfire and enjoy an overnight stay.

  • Day 02: Rishikesh Sightseeing

    Start your day with a relaxing yoga and meditation session. After that, head to Rajaji National Park for a morning wildlife safari. This national park and tiger reserve is nestled at the foothills of the Himalayas, surrounded by the stunning Shivalik Ranges. You may spot elephants, tigers, panthers, spotted deer, sambhar, wild boar, barking deer, goral, and two bear species. There are also over 400 species of birds to see.
    After lunch, dive into adventure! Try body surfing, rappelling, cliff jumps, bungee jumping, rock climbing, forest treks, and waterfall explorations. The surrounding mountains and the rushing holy Ganga River make these activities exciting. In the evening, enjoy tea and snacks, followed by a delicious BBQ dinner and a cosy bonfire. Spend the night in Rishikesh for a perfect end to your day.

  • Day 03: Rishikesh –Joshimath- Auli (8 hrs)

    On the third day of your vacation, travel by road to Auli. This is India’s top skiing location. Enjoy the stunning natural scenery along the way. You will arrive in Joshimath in the late afternoon. From there, take Asia’s longest ropeway to Auli Bugyal. This 4-kilometre cable car offers panoramic views of the hills and oak forests. Once you reach your resort, take some time to explore. Complete the check-in process and relax. Be sure to catch the breathtaking sunset as it sets behind Nanda Devi and the snow-capped peaks. In the evening, enjoy music, a cosy bonfire, and a delicious dinner. Spend the night at the resort.

  • Day 04: Auli Tour

    Auli is located between 2519 and 3050 meters above sea level. It offers stunning views and year-round snow. The skiing slopes cater to both novice and experienced skiers. This morning, you will learn the basics of ice skiing. Get ready for an exciting day ahead! After your winter adventure, head back to the resort for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided hike to Lake Valentine. This man-made lake is nestled within deep pine forests. During your hike, take in the breathtaking sights of Helang Valley. In the evening, you can look forward to sunset views, a cosy bonfire, and music. Spend the night at the resort and relax after a full day of fun.

  • Day 05: Auli- Joshimath - Auli

    On day 5, get ready for an exciting day of sightseeing in Joshimath. This town serves as the winter home of Lord Badrinath. During winter, the idol of Lord Vishnu is brought here from Badrinath, which is covered in snow.
    Joshimath is also one of the four monasteries established by Adi Shankaracharya. You will visit several key attractions. First, explore the Narasimha Temple. Built around 1200 years ago, it is dedicated to Lord Narasimha, the half-lion, half-man incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
    Next, head to the Shankaracharya Cave, located near Kalpavriksha. This cave is sacred as it is believed Adi Shankaracharya meditated here. Don’t miss visiting Tapovan, known for its hot sulphur springs.
    Later, take the ropeway ride to Auli. The views are simply stunning. In the evening, enjoy the sunset, gather around a bonfire, and listen to music at the resort. Have dinner and relax for the night at your hotel.

  • Day 06: Auli – Jim Corbett

    On the sixth day, enjoy breakfast before departing for Jim Corbett National Park. This famous national park is also a Tiger Reserve. Established in 1936 as Hailey National Park, it is India’s oldest national park. Corbett is renowned for its large populations of leopards, elephants, spotted deer, and tigers. Additionally, the park is home to over 650 bird species, making it a birdwatcher’s paradise.
    You will arrive at the national park in the evening. Check-in at your wildlife resort upon arrival. Take some time to relax and unwind. Later, enjoy dinner while listening to music. Spend a cosy night at the resort and prepare for your adventures ahead.

  • Day 07: Jim Corbett National Park

    Start your day with an exciting Jeep Safari inside Jim Corbett National Park. Discover the park’s diverse flora and fauna. You might spot sloth bears, otters, and peacocks. Look out for langurs, macaques, and crocodiles as well. Don’t miss the monitor lizards, jackals, wild boars, and gharials too. The park is home to around 600 bird species, including both resident and migratory birds. It’s going to be a thrilling adventure!

    After the safari, enjoy breakfast at the resort. Take some time to relax. Later, visit Corbett Falls. This stunning 20-meter-high waterfall is nestled in lush woodlands. Enjoy the chirping birds and the peaceful atmosphere. It’s a favourite spot for tourists!

  • Day 08: Corbett - Delhi

    Today marks the end of your 8-day Uttarakhand Adventure Tour. After enjoying breakfast, it’s time to pack your bags. You’ll head back to the Delhi airport or railway station. Get ready for your next flight!
