Known for its high density of tigers, Bandhavgarh is a wildlife enthusiast’s paradise, while Kanha is celebrated for its lush sal forests and is the last refuge of the endangered Hard Ground Barasingha. This tour offers a unique opportunity to explore the diverse ecosystems and rich wildlife of these areas.

Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrival in Delhi

    Upon arrival at Delhi International Airport, our representative will meet you and assist with the transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and recovering from your journey. Overnight in Delhi.

  • Day 02: Delhi to Khajuraho

    After breakfast, we’ll transport you to the airport for your flight to Khajuraho. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy lunch. Later, explore the eastern, western, and southern groups of Khajuraho temples, known for their stunning Indo-Aryan architecture and intricate sculptures, created by the Chandella monarchs in the 10th century A.D. Overnight in Khajuraho.

  • Day 03: Khajuraho to Bandhavgarh (240 km/6 hrs)

    After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Bandhavgarh National Park. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening. Overnight in Bandhavgarh.

  • Day 04: Explore Bandhavgarh National Park

    After breakfast, venture into Bandhavgarh National Park, established in 1968 and later designated as a tiger reserve under Project Tiger in 1993. The park is renowned for its high density of tigers and a variety of other wildlife including leopards, deer, and more. Don’t miss the ancient fort and the 60-foot statue of Lord Vishnu in the Tala Zone. Spend a full day exploring before returning to your forest lodge for the night.

  • Day 05: Bandhavgarh to Kanha (240 km/6 hrs)

    Enjoy an early morning visit to Bandhavgarh Park, followed by breakfast and a drive to Kanha National Park. Check into your hotel and enjoy some leisure time. Overnight in Kanha.

  • Day 06: Kanha National Park

    Discover the breathtaking landscapes of Kanha National Park, known as Kipling’s Jungle Book land. Home to the rare Hard Ground Barasingha, the park offers a rich biodiversity that includes tigers, leopards, sloth bears, and a plethora of bird species. Explore the park via jeep or elephant back for an up-close view of its diverse wildlife. Overnight in a forest lodge.

  • Day 07: Kanha to Nagpur, then fly to Delhi/Mumbai

    Take one last early morning tour of Kanha National Park before driving to Nagpur (300 km/7 hrs). From Nagpur, catch your flight to Delhi or Mumbai, marking the end of your tour.
